You may know the game developer Asher Vollmer for his work on the addictive puzzle game Threes! and Apple Arcade fantasy adventure Guild. His newly formed studio Vodeo Games has a new game in the works Animal breaker, and as ball-bouncing, brick-breaking games such as Holedown and Arkanoid (or, heck, pinball) is your thing, you might want to pay attention.
Animal breaker mix a ball bouncer with turn based tactical strategy and play a cute mouse named Skipper. Players will choose an attacking style, set up shots (Skipper is the ball) and attack giant mosaic animals on a world-saving adventure.
“Along the way,” says Vodeo Games on its website, “you will meet live characters that will help you build equipment, master unique new fighting styles, and maybe even discover the origins of the Beasts.”
Animal breaker coming to Nintendo Switch and PC this summer via the Epic Games Store. It looks neat!
