Three Americans were infected with the coronavirus after being completely vaccinated on the island of Hawaii.
One of the patients, a health worker, traveled through the country after being vaccinated but later tested positive, reports KITV4.
“You have to be careful at other times when you are on the plane at the airport with other people in larger groups,” said Dr. Melinda Ashton, chief quality officer at Hawaii Pacific Health, said.

Five people across the state are currently in the ICU over the Covid-19 infection.
“We have not seen these kinds of numbers early in the pandemic,” said Dr. Julius Pham, chairman of the Covid-19 committee at Queen’s Medical Center, said. “We still have about 50-60 cases a day in the state, but our hospitalization numbers are lower than the infection rate in the state.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, current vaccines are between 66 and 95 percent effective.

“Over time, as more people are vaccinated, we have more time on hand with this vaccine. We have a better idea of how long the protection lasts,” said Dr. Michael Walter, Kalihi-Palama Health Center, said.
Many reports have indicated that the vaccines containing the pandemic are ineffective, but authorities have urged people not to worry.
“Remember, 95 percent of people get immunity to the vaccines and 5% do not get the vaccine Moderna and Pfizer,” Lieutenant Governor Josh Green told news station KHON2. ‘Some people are going to dive into this and say: Oh, then the vaccine does not work. No, it works. It works in a large percentage of people, but not all, and that’s an important message. ”
