Thousands of extramarital affairs against COVID-19 for Utahns canceled after system failure

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Department of Health says a flaw in their online registration system for COVID-19 vaccines has allowed thousands of ineligible Utahs to schedule recent appointments.

The department said in an announcement on Saturday that 7,200 people had registered who are not in the demographics currently eligible.

UDOH will cancel these appointments within the next 24 hours and those whose appointments have been canceled will be notified by email. Several hundred have already canceled on their own after learning of the mistake.

“We apologize for this error and for any confusion it has caused,” department spokesman Tom Hudachko wrote. “We appreciate the enthusiasm shown by Utah residents for the COVID-19 vaccine, and we strongly encourage all Utahns to be vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.”

Anyone who believes that their appointment has been wrongly canceled is advised to contact their local health department where they would plan the appointment, or to try to make the appointment online again.
