Melissa McCarthy’s audition band for Thor: Love and Thunder appeared, featuring husband Ben Falcone and her brand humor.
Melissa McCarthy’s audition band for Thor: Love and thunder made his way online.
McCarthy recorded the video with her husband Ben Falcone during Christmas Day in Australia and joked that they were “desperate” to appear in the film. The film was full of their brand humor, including the pronouncement of ‘Marvel’ as ‘Carvel’ and even the presentation of the table for craft services. “You make an amazing movie and an amazing ice cream cake!” McCarthy concluded.
McCarthy and Falcone were recently spotted on the set of Thor: Love and thunder with Sam Neill and Matt Damon, as well as Luke Hemsworth. They were filming a scene with Asgardian actors recounting the events of Thor: Ragnarok, with McCarthy depicting the goddess of death Hela. Neill, Damon and Hemsworth recorded a similar scene Thor: The Dark World in Ragnarok– Neill played the king of Asgard Odin, while Hemsworth played the role of brother Chris as Thor and Damon as Loki.
Falcone has directed McCarthy in several films, including HBO Max’s Superintelligence. The duo will reunite for the original Netflix movie Thunder Force, who make up McCarthy and Octavia Spencer as some estranged friends who have become superheroes. Thunder Force, written and directed by Falcone, will premiere on Netflix on April 9th.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and thunder Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillen as Nebula and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. The film will hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
