Authorities are investigating the March March crash in the Holtville area, imperial county, 20 kilometers from the front between Mexico and the United States where 13 people were killed, including 10 Mexicans and two Guatemalans. One of Guatemala’s victims has been identified as Yesenia Cardona for 23 years.
The young man was sitting next to his mother, while Guatemala’s mother had a knife because she had been murdered. Jaqueline Hurtado has been transferred to Orange in California to talk to Verlyn Cardona, who is recovering from her injuries and is sharing her experience.
