Since the world lost Steve Irwin in 2006, we have happily seen his family continue to maintain the incredible legacy of nature conservation he left behind. His children Bindi and Robert Irwin took on bigger roles as they grew older with their mother Terri in their famous Australian zoo. Fans can take a look at the incredible work the Irwin family participates in daily Crikey! This is the Irwins, and we look forward to the upcoming third season on Discovery +. Luckily for us, we finally looked at what was in store for the premiere in February – and between Bindi’s pregnancy and her tearful tribute to father Steve, we feel emotional.
“2020 was a hurricane for all of us,” Bindi said at the start of the video People . Due to the pandemic, their beloved zoo was forced to close, which Terri admits is the biggest challenge their family has faced since the death of her husband.

“We try to stay positive and hopeful, because everything is going to be fine, but I just want us to be open,” a suffocated Bindi told the camera.

At one point in the track, the screen points to a speech that Bindi says as she holds back the tears: ‘We will continue to follow in Dad’s footsteps and make sure that everything he lived and died for continues. ‘
Do you feel emotional? Trust us, we are too.
Bindi kept her father’s memory alive in everything she does, from her social media messages to her passion for wildlife – so it makes perfect sense that she feels most connected to her father when she’s around the animals he’s so loved. Fortunately, she has her family who share her passion and support her every step of the way.
At the end of the clip, we hear Bindi announce her pregnancy with joy with her husband, Chandler Powell, and we hear her mother say that Steve “will be proud that we survived it.”
We totally agree that Steve will be so proud of his strong family and we can’t wait to see the wholesome content the Irwins will share with us this season!
