As soon as Bill Gates enters Clubhouse for the first time this week, journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin temporarily ignored some of the questions he intended to ignore about everything from the coronavirus pandemic to climate change and Gates’ new book How to avoid a climate disaster. Sorkin pointed out to Microsoft co-founder that he’s getting a shower of tweets asking everyone the same, sent from people as soon as they hear of Gates’ chat in Clubhouse, the hot new social app for iOS:

Gates admitted that he actually uses an Android phone on a daily basis. And that while talking to the latest iPhones, just to keep up with it, “the phone I carry is Android.” Sorkin further investigated it and wanted to know if it was a product of a kind of ‘religious’ preference that Gates has between Android versus iOS.
‘Well, some of the Android manufacturers install Microsoft software in a way that makes it easy for me, and they’re smoother about how the software connects with the operating system, and that’s what I’ll finally get used to … A lot some of my friends have iPhones, so there is no purity. ”

Highlights of the interview: Microsoft’s billionaire – whose personal foundation was at the forefront of vaccine development and the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, in collaboration with government agencies – said he was taking his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine got over a week ago. “It’s the only time I’m grateful I’m an old man – 65 years old.”
