Can a leading NBA trade help two struggling teams that are expected to complete this season? Both the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors are starting out overwhelmingly after entering the season with great hope. They could both shake things up on the NBA deadline, and this potential deal would do.

For Golden State, they want to bounce back from a season that was derailed by injuries a year ago. Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson missed time last season, forcing them to be one of the weakest teams in the league and clinch the second overall pick.

The Warriors use the pick on James Wiseman, but receive bad news the same night. Klay Thompson has picked up a torn Achilles that will keep him going this season as well. Steph Curry scored 28.2 points per game, while shooting well off the field and three points. He can use help in the perimeter.

This is where Miami comes into play. They are a team that has a lot of talent in the area and is looking for some to return to. Miami made a surprising run to the finals a year ago, but was led by a conflicting start by Jimmy Butler, who missed time with an injury but is back in the series. Players like Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro performed in Butler’s absence. If they do not want to cross to get lost quickly, they can make a deal.

This trade will certainly shock some people, but as we have seen over the past year, nothing is impossible. Let’s take a look at a potential trailer between Miami and Golden State.
