If you wandered around Cyberpunk 2077 in Night City, you probably noticed that the pedestrians of the old-world game seem a little unaware of what’s going on around them. They’re amazed when you run into them, and they often seem unaware of things just happening up front. Well, thanks to a handy new mod, you can sharpen their situational awareness and make them act more like real people trying not to get hit by cars.
The alternate multitude behavior mod by TemplarGFX is not a complete mod but rather a custom .ini file that changes some of the distance thresholds for Cyberpunk 2077 NPCs. Specifically, the mod increases the distances that pedestrians will notice obstacles in their path, and it includes V, so you need to see people turning to prevent you from rather being in your plow with this adjustment.
The mod also makes a few more changes – NPCs require less ‘personal space’ while walking, which means they will contract more naturally, and they are less likely to disappear into the void while not watching (they however, will still disappear if you do something that scares them). The customization also increases the number of NPCs allowed in a scene at once – which is an interesting reversal of the mods that turn Night City into a ghost town by removing all the cars and pedestrians that use the same kind of .ini file systems. as this alternative behavior hack does.

If you want to try it, go to Nexus Mods and download the files. You will find two files in the compressed archive, one named altcrowdsfull.ini and one the call altcrowdslite.ini. These are the ‘full’ and ‘lite’ versions of the customization, respectively, and it’s important to note that installing one of the two will increase the load on your computer’s CPU. for your computer’s processor.
Choose which version of the customization you want to use and drop the corresponding file in the directory Cyberpunk2077 engine config platform pc . Once it’s done, you’re ready to go mixing in a night city full of people who are no longer so sleepy.
