This country is not known to Guaidó as Venezuela’s interim president

(CNN Español) –– Dominican Republic needs to reconvene Juan Guaidó, Venezuela’s opposition leader, as interim president of this country. Así lo confirmed – ‘n CNN el canciller dominicano Roberto Álvarez. This meeting, Álvarez points out, is the 5th of this year, concluding Guaidó’s mandate as President of the Venezuelan National Assembly.

Álvarez dijo que su pais tampoco recognos de legitimidad de la Asamblea Nacional que asummí el 5 deero, como resultas la cuestionadas eleciones que se realizaron el 6 deiciembre, convocadas por el gobierno de Nicolás Maduro, y de las que no participo of the opposition.

The cancellation claim that the Dominican Republic has no official relations with the Maduro governor. However, the country maintains a diplomatic seat in Venezuela, without an ambassador, for the 15,000 Dominicans who reside in that nation.
