In the 2020-21 NBA season, the Portland Trail Blazers had high expectations and were expected to be a team that would compete for the best in the West Conference. Although they still have the potential to be a good team and possibly make a turn in the post-season, injuries hampered their chances of success early in the season.

Zach Collins is expected to be out for the year with an ankle injury, CJ McCollum is still out with a broken foot and Jusef Nurkic, the starting center, is out for a few more weeks with a broken wrist. This team just can’t get a breather this year, which led them to a 16-10 record at this point of the year.

Because of all their problems in their foreland, Portland is currently 16th in the NBA with a rebound and could possibly try to add another forward near the NBA deadline. Enes Kanter was great for the Blazers and stepped into a bigger role with Nurkic unavailable, but they will still need a reliable option to rely on production.

Although it costs expensive, Andre Drummond can fit perfectly in Portland alongside Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. This team needs immediate production to be true title candidates this season and by acquiring the former All-Star Center, would they significantly improve their chances of winning a title?

How can Portland possibly make this trade? Let’s take a look at what a potential Cavaliers and Blazers deal with Andre Drummond might look like.
