They went ‘wild’!
The video released Thursday shows a gang breaking into a Harley-Davidson dealership in Indiana, jumping on four expensive bikes and riding through the front door.
Dressed in helmets and dark clothes, the buyer bike robbery happened on Wednesday at 03:30 in Kokomo.
“All four individuals were wearing hiding clothes and motorcycle helmets,” Kokomo police said.
The thieves who are ready to ride have selected three Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special models from 2021 as well as a 2020 version. They are estimated to be worth $ 95,000, police said.
The suspects were somehow able to chase the hijackers and drive out the front door of the showroom before fleeing south on 931 State Road, investigators said.
Some online conditions suggested that the burglary looked like an ‘inside job’, as one thief apparently used a key to unlock the front doors and all the suspects apparently had little trouble starting the stolen rides.
Kokomo police did not respond to inquiries Friday about possible arrests in the burglary.
