These San Antonio hubs are receiving COVID-19 vaccine shipments this week

SAN ANTONIO The Texas Department of Health Services has announced which COVID-19 vaccines in San Antonio will receive vaccines during the week of January 25th.

These are only the first doses of the vaccine. Health officials say the vaccine is being sent to these sites, but it is not necessarily where the vaccines will be distributed.

Below are the pivot points in San Antonio that will receive the vaccine:

  • San Antonio Metropolitan Health District Main Immunization Clinic – 9,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine

  • University Health System – Inpatient – 10 725 doses of Pfizer vaccine

  • Wellness 360 (adult) – 5 850 doses of Pfizer vaccine

It is not specified where specifically these new doses will be sent for distribution.

The four distribution sites for COVID-19 in San Antonio still include the Alamodome, the WellMed Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center, the Alicia Treviño López Senior Community Center, and Wonderland of the Americas.
