One need that was never satisfied by the MCU: Loki. Sure, Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief has been in quite a few Marvel movies by now, but never long enough. Now the man gets his own show. Loki‘s official summary only says that it takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and his trailer is a bit vague and mysterious, but come on. It looks like a hell of a good time.

Y: The Last Man

This adaptation of the incredible comics of Pia Guerra and Brian K. Vaughan has been feeling like pop culture steam for so long that it would be hard to imagine it actually being released, even if the world is not in the midst of a pandemic not. Regardless, this apocalyptic drama, about what happens when a mysterious appearance wipes out all mammals with Y chromosomes, is reportedly in production. Like many other series over the past year, production has been halted by Covid-19, but there is still a chance it could hit the 2021 release window.

Midnight Miss

Did you enjoy it The Haunting of Hill House? You are lucky. Horror impresario Mike Flanagan is back with another Netflix series that will tingle your spine. This one-Midnight Miss—Is about a remote island community that begins to experience unprecedented and frightening events after a young priest enters the city. Flanagan completed the survey for this during the pandemic and there is a chance that it will be ready to flow this year. Here is the hope.

Speaking of throwing money at valuable ambitious projects, Apple TV + has an extensive rendition of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation romance. Could this be the major genre breach of the streaming service? We’ll see.
