“Given the fans and the huge success of the previous games, it is humble to be able to build and launch the next game in the franchise that has revolutionized the Battle Royale genre worldwide.” says MinKyu Park, executive producer of PUBG: NEW STATE. ‘We want to build on the legacy by creating an experience that pushes the boundaries of mobile gaming. Seeing our team come together to develop a global product has been an incredible experience and we are confident that it will speak to all audiences when it is launched later this year. ”

PUBG: NEW STATE was built from the ground up and optimized for mobile gaming, and will deliver the full battle royal experience directly into the players’ hands. Players can use the best gun made popular by the original PUBG game, and players can expect the same combat experience that is easy to learn but difficult to master. Thanks to the latest versioning technology called Global Illumination, the title includes graphics that push the boundaries of mobile gaming so players can immerse themselves in a battlefield experience that is realistic and intense, but more importantly, stable and smooth.

In addition to the original experience that fans fell in love with, PUBG: NEW STATE also adds several brand new features that evolve the genre. With a new weapon customization feature in the game, players can make different weapons of their own by getting customization kits. These kits will transform weapons in various ways, such as performance enhancements, fire mode choices, and grenade launcher attachments. Players can also enjoy a variety of other new features, including combat roles, drones and a futuristic ballistic shield. Eventually, players will also be able to hit the road and explore massive 8×8 open worlds with a variety of new vehicles.

In the near future of 2051, years have passed since the original game. Within this background, players will fall into a brand new battlefield called TROI, where they will have the opportunity to discover how the universe evolved. Players can explore different interaction objects in the unique environment and help them devise new ways and strategies to dominate the competition.

“At KRAFTON, our goal is to create masterpieces that offer the best player experiences. With PUBG: NEW STATE, the next title in our growing PUBG franchise, we hope to realize that vision. ”Said CH Kim, CEO of KRAFTON, Inc. “We give our full support to PUBG Studio to ensure that they continue to develop games that know their unique identity, and further strengthen their position as pioneers in the Battle Royale genre.”

PUBG has sold more than 70 million copies, making it one of the best-selling video games of all time. Since its launch in 2017, PUBG has won several awards, including seven Guinness World Records and several Game of the Year awards.
