Halo: Master Chief Collection Developer 343 Industries teased that the sci-fi shooter collection will soon be moving to ‘a place and way of playing’.

Unfortunately, we did not get any more information about what it could be, but as you can see, it would definitely make the Halo fans’ collective tongues wave, with speculation ranging from an unlikely PS5 port, a move to Nintendo Switch, Google Stadiums, or – perhaps more plausibly – Epic Games Store or Microsoft’s own streaming service, xCloud.
ICYMI, the Halo Infinite development team has revealed that all of the games’ “sandbox content” will be introduced is already in the game and is played daily.
A recent post also shared on the Halo Waypoint blog highlights the work that Halo Infinite’s sandbox team does around vehicles, weapons, abilities and more. Headline designer Quinn DelHoyo reveals that ‘all of our launch content is in the game and is played daily’.
“The sandbox of the game refers to all the vehicles, equipment, weapons and objects with which the player will communicate,” the designer explained. “The sandbox also contains all the player systems and ‘verbs’ such as jumping, running, health values, shield reload times, etc.”
Right now, Halo Infinite is known to launch sometime in the fall / Q3 2021 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox X Series, en Xbox Series S. The sequel underwent a change in development leadership towards the end of last year former Bungie veterans of the original Halo trilogy is recruited to watch the match to the finish line.
