Intel posted a cryptic teaser on Twitter this morning, it appears the chipmaker is getting ready to unveil more details about its long-awaited graphics card, the Xe HPG.

What the information is, no one is know, but Intel has been dropping small crumbs over the Xe HPG for a few months now. Last August, Intel said that its game GPU can be sent somewhere in 2021, and during the keynote address at CES 2021, the company mentioned that it had devised a way to use both an integrated GPU and a discretionto GPU at the same time.

Intel did not specify if this is only a feature for its graphics cards and processors, or if it is compatible with Nvidia and AMD cards, but it’s clear something that works the business oa. It is possible that we may hear more about the feature in the near future Intel webcast on March 23. Or maybe the launch date will be March 26th.

Why March 26? According to Wccftech, there is a binary code in the video that, if translated correctly, refers to a hidden scavenger hunt website. ‘Welcome to the Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt’ is prominently displayed in a small black box on the website. There is March 26 at 09:00 PST ‘launch date’ and a comment for people to come back on that day and enter their ‘secret code’. The code appears to be was cracked by a Twitter user.

There is no other information on how to find the secret code. It is possible that this may be linked to the March 23 webcast, but it does not seem likely at the moment. Like most scavenger hunts, there are a series of hidden objects and puzzles to solve before you reveal the mystery at the end, or free yourself from the escape room; Gizmodo gave Intel tips, but have not heard anything yet.

Intel has officially released its first Xe desktop GPU back in January. However, this is primarily for budget computers, but not for games, and most cards are included with a pre-built computer rather than a standalone item. The Xe HPG is supposed to be more of a mid-range card and a competitive price compared to Nvidia and AMD.

So, Intel is getting ready for something, but it is clear that it is trying to create a mystery to arouse excitement. Consider us excited.
