Another 25,000 appointments for eligible workers and people over the age of 65 in Riverside County to receive the coronavirus vaccine became available on Friday, February 12, with about 5,000 more next week.
The appointments are at locations in Riverside County for Wednesday, Feb. 17 through Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Workers in Phase 1A and Phase 1B – Level 1, which are set out on https://www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine, can receive the vaccine if they bring identification or a letter from their employer showing that they eligible. Health, grocery and school workers are among those eligible. Those over 65 must bring identification.
Older residents who need help making an appointment can call 2-1-1 or 951-329-4703 by country.
Province spokeswoman Brooke Federico said the new appointments consisted of 14,000 first-dose appointments and 11,600 second-dose appointments.
