Round 2! Jake and Rob fight through Cyberpunk 2077 bugs and errors while trying to play the game on a base Xbox One, without updates – version 1.0 all the way!
As you are probably well aware by now, the role play of CD Project Red had a notoriously rocky launch. It has been patched and updated over time, but we ignore it all to go back to vanilla experience to show how this game was shipped on day one.
To do so, Jake and Rob turned down the updates to the Xbox One disk version of Cyberpunk 2077 so they could live on the edge. What you will see in this video are immersive bugs, gameplay and stuttering, textured pop-ins, and unresponsive AI Suffice it to say … it’s not pretty. It’s nice and funny, but not pretty.
What is also noteworthy is that this is a series in which Jake and Rob double down with the premise that they encourage ‘The Worst Way To Play’. This means that they also role-play as the worst character possible, so expect unpleasant and rude dialogue choices, as well as completely unnecessary physical arguments.
And this is what Episode 2 of The Worst Way to Play Cyberpunk 2077 envisions for you, so sit back and watch our duo suffer to give you 12 minutes of fun and mischief. Let us know in the comments below if you would like to see more of this challenge. And if you have specific ideas on how to make the experience even more miserable, let us know that too. Thanks for watching.
