Fox News’ senior political analyst, Brit Hume, addressed public policymakers on Tuesday because he was apparently only referring to Dr. Anthony Fauci was trusted for guidance on the coronavirus pandemic and excluded scientists from other areas.
“He’s an epidemiologist,” Hume told Fox News Primetime to Fauci’s Katie Pavlich. “His job is to fight this disease. He is not an expert in child psychology or child education. He is not an expert on whether cancer research can be postponed if there are connections that affect hospitals. He is not a “Government in the U.S. economy or the U.S. economy. no harm to be done to it. He just isn’t. It’s someone else’s problem and it’s not his.”
Hume then criticized governors who locked up their states last year based on the ever-evolving messages of Fauci.
“If we as a nation overturn all our policies [that] this pandemic affects or [is] touched by a person with a very close focus, we end up with these insane locks and we get collateral damage that he does not seem concerned about because it is not in his bail, and we are sitting with the terrible problems we have had , ‘he said.

“When they talk about ‘Follow science’, the question becomes: what science? Economics is a science. Cardiology is a branch of science … If you just listen to some scientists instead of through a wider lens “You end up with the kind of policy decisions we’ve made. I think these closures and the closure of schools are the worst public policy decisions of my life.”

While Hume placed much of the responsibility at the feet of public officials, there was another group he called.
“The news media is very responsible for our unfortunate reactions, which were terrible in this.”
