The World’s Longest Bunny Stolen From Former Playboy Model: Police

The longest bunny in the world has gone missing, police said.

Darius, the Continental Giant rabbit, was reportedly stolen from his home in Stoulton, UK, on ​​Saturday night, Western Mercia police said on Monday. According to Guinness World Records (GWR), Darius is the current record holder for the longest rabbit alive, with a length of 129 cm.

Its owner, former Playboy model and rabbit breeder Annette Edwards (69), tweeted about her missing pet Sunday and offered a $ 1,375.40 (£ 1,000) reward to get him back.

According to DailyMail.com, Edwards owns more than 100 rabbits as a breeder and owns the world’s longest rabbit since 2008.

According to GWR, Darius was named the longest rabbit in the world in 2010.

In a statement released Monday, Western Mercia police asked for information about the missing rabbit.

“We are appealing for information following the theft of an award – winning rabbit from his home in Stoulton, Worcestershire,” police wrote. “It is believed that the Continental Giant rabbit was stolen from its fence in the garden of the property of its owners overnight on Saturday (April 10 – April 11).”
