The woman was shot several times, injured after being in a vehicle that crashed into Phoenix’s home

PHOENIX – Officials are investigating a car that crashed into a house in Phoenix, and a woman found in the car suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Firefighters in Phoenix say they were called to the scene near 41st Avenue and Bethany Home Road at about 3.30pm for reports of a car crashing into a house.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 25-year-old woman who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was also injured in the crash.

Officials say the driver of the car, a grown man in his thirties, was also injured in the crash.

Police say the man was detained and transported to a hospital due to his injuries and is in a stable condition and is expected to survive.

Firefighters say the woman is in an extremely critical condition.

The officer says the relationship between the two is currently unknown and they believe the shooting incident took place before the accident.

No one was injured inside the home as a result of the collision.

Authorities are investigating what led to the shooting and the crash.
