The woman may have died 12 years before the body was found in the house

An elderly Scottish woman has been found dead in her home after failing to show up for her COVID-19 vaccine appointment – and now authorities believe her body may have been there for 12 years, reports say.

Christina Malley, who would now be in her 80s, was discovered last month in her home in Cover, where she lived with her husband, Daniel, reports the Daily Record.

Nurses went to the house to look for Malley after she did not show up for her vaccination for the vaccine.

When the authorities knocked, her husband said she was going abroad, the store reported.

But her body was later discovered inside the house, which resulted in a police investigation.

Police are still investigating how she died, but said it is possible she has been dead for twelve years, the office said.

A police spokesman confirmed the discovery of a woman’s body in the home.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and investigations are continuing,” the spokesman told the outlet.

Neighbors were surprised to find out that Daniel was married.

“I have never seen him with a woman all the time I have lived here,” one resident told the Sun.

‘It gives me a shiver when I think she could have been lying in the house all this time. Why was there no smell or flies? It’s just so weird. ‘
