Are you ready to be overwhelmed by an abundance of choices? Okay, because the next Steam Game Festival has just started with over 500 demos to try out. Or, like me, think very hard about trying for a whole week before you realize you missed it. Oops. If you are not trying that kind of thing, there are also live developers to look at. The festival has just been launched and will take place next Tuesday 9 February.
As with previous Steam Game Festivals, this one has a whole range of upcoming games of all kinds to visit. You can keep up to date on the official Steam Game Festival page and catch the developers’ livestreams. You may see that something you have been keeping an eye on is suddenly a demo available, or better yet, you may discover something new that you want to monitor after trying it.
The trailer right here gives you a quick look at some of the things to come, from silly co-op ’em up Fling To The Finish to the witty RPG Black Book. Do not worry if you need help searching through all the options. Alice B will sort out some recommendations for you.
At the start, there is a steam sale that is likely to follow on the heels of the festival. The people of SteamDB is pretty sure that the Moon New Year sale begins on February 11, two days after the Game Festival concludes. It is good that we are practicing our decision-making skills well in advance.
The Steam Game Festival officially kicks off today from 18:00 GMT (10:00 PST) and will run until Tuesday, February 9 until the same hour.
