The Weeknd stays in style in Tampa this week as it prepares for Sunday’s Super Bowl 2021 halftime show.
We hear that the “Blinding Lights” bar dipped $ 100,000 to stay in a heavy six-bedroom, $ 9.1 million dormitory on nearby Davis Island. The 6,000 square meter distribution has a swimming pool, views of the bay and a private dock.
While Super Bowl producers cover all the normal production costs for the show, the 30-year-old singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – injects big bucks to make sure it is done his way.
“Abel has spent nearly $ 7 million of his own money on top of the already generous budgets to make this rest-time program as he envisioned,” his publicist told The Post.
On Monday, the singer teamed up with Postmates to feed health professionals in the leading healthcare industry at AdventHealth Carrollwood with food from the black-owned Tama restaurant, Mama’s Southern Soul Food.
