The video shows how the Capitol police officer is crushed during the crowd and cries in pain

Disturbing video of Wednesday’s riot at the US Capitol shows what appears to be a Capitol police officer who is crushed between a riot shield and a metal door as a crowd of rioters enters the building.

The young officer, who is bleeding in the mouth, screams in pain and calls for help.

The unknown condition of the unknown officer after the incident was not immediately known.

The rioters, armed with pipes and pepper spray, bumped and kicked officers – even with their own shields against the Capitol force – to push them through the front entrance.

In the chaotic video, rioters shout “Heave ho!” while using a riot shield to break through. It looks like one of the protesters sprayed a chemical irritation on the officers and another person could be heard shouting “Grab their g —- mn shield!”

Another Capitol police officer, Brian Sicknick, died in hospital on Thursday from injuries sustained during the riot and a female riot from California was fatally shot. Three other people were killed in medical emergencies before or during the riot, police said.
