Fallen rubbish from the engine spread over roofs and lawns in Broomfield. United Flight 328, with 231 passengers and ten crew members on board, was on its way from DIA to Honolulu before returning to Denver and landing safely.

Passengers boarded the runway and were transported to the terminal, the FAA said. Authorities said no one was injured on board or on the ground.
