CVS is implementing their COVID-19 vaccination program in 19 states, including Virginia and Maryland, giving approximately 200 vaccine doses per day per site.
Not all CVS locations have it. Currently, there are only 36 stores in Virginia and 18 in Maryland that offer the chance, and the stores will use the 37,000 doses by Monday (26,000 in Virginia and 11,000 in Maryland).
All vaccinations are given by appointment only, and the appointments for these first doses have already been discussed.
CVS spokeswoman Amy Thibault said that as more federal government became available, they were ready to expand to more locations and offer additional appointments.
