It was recently seen that Tesla Model S refreshment vehicles are leaving the Fremont Factory yard with a truck. A few motorhomes with Model 3 and Model Y cars were also spotted heading north. The observation of trucks transporting Tesla vehicles indicates that the company’s quarterly push is underway.
Twitter user @ Coding Mark takes photos of a car carrier transporting several Model S refreshment vehicles from the Fremont Factory. The member of the EV community initially speculated that both Model S refreshing and Model S checkered vehicles were on the car carrier, but a closer examination of the images suggests that the cars are from the former.
Ever since Tesla announced the availability of Model S Plaid, all eyes have been on the Fremont Factory. The facility’s parking lot was recently filled with the update of Model S. This pointed to the idea that the trained flagship sedan is about to deliver.
Elon Musk announced during the revenue call in January that deliveries of Plaid Model S will begin in February. Musk’s estimates were a bit off because no deliveries were made last month. Eventually, it appears that the deliveries of Model S Plaid are experiencing an ‘Elon Time’, a trend that Musk himself has acknowledged in the past. “I always deliver what I say, just maybe not within the time frame in which I say it,” the Tesla CEO said.
Since Model S refresh cars are being transported now, Plaid Model S vehicles could be the next cars to leave Tesla’s main production facility in California. Model S Plaid deliveries could make a significant difference in Tesla’s first quarter, similar to the impact the Model Y delivery had in the first quarter last year. With just a few weeks left in March, the excitement and eagerness for Plaid Model S deliveries is likely to increase.
If Model S Plaid deliveries only reach the end of March, it will still play an important role in Tesla’s next quarterly earnings. Plaid Model S deliveries could begin next month and start Q2 on a solid footing.
