If you have recent news about Resident Evil Village, the next game in the hit-horror-videogame franchise, you may have heard of Lady Dimitrescu, a very tall woman / probably vampire who became very popular.
Seriously, she’s tall – just look at this Sony GIF. Lady Dimitrescu towers over the other women / likely vampires in this scene.
Many people wondered exactly how long Lady Dimitrescu is apparently, and Kotaku’s Ash Parrish even went to great lengths to estimate that Lady Dimitrescu is 96 centimeters tall. Monday night, however, Resident Evil’s official Twitter account revealed that Parrish was not even close.
If you include her hat and high heels, Lady Dimitrescu officially stands on a giant 2.9 meters long, which is equivalent to a height of about 9 feet and 6 inches, according to Tomonori Takano, Resident Evil Village’s head of art.

It sounds awfully long to me – I’m almost six feet tall, so I’ll tap my neck to look her in the eye. (I think this is the perfect way to expose my neck so she can eat on my neck.)
But me and a few of my colleagues wanted to get a better idea of how long it really is. Here are some comparisons:
Actually, she really is really tall. But I have only one more question – when Lady Dimitrescu takes off her hat and kicks off her shoes after a long day of hunting people, how tall is she then? Guess we’ll just have to play Resident Evil Village to see if this very important mystery is answered.
The game is out on May 7th, so we do not have too much longer to wait.
