The Starship Landing looks absolutely incredible in Slow Motion

An explosion of a Starship has never looked so good.

Big tree

SpaceX’s Starship SN10 prototype experienced a bit of an option after it managed to land.

The stainless steel tower decided a few minutes after touch on Wednesday to give up the ghost and go up in a massive feather in its cap – just like its two predecessors SN8 and SN9.

“RIP SN10, Honorable Dismissal,” Musk tweeted after the event.

Slow Mo

Considering the YouTube account Cosmic Perspective for launching the space, we can relive the event in incredible slow motion, including the sounds of a cheering crowd near the launch site.

The rocket can be seen as a carbonated soda can bursting into a giant fireball. Moments later, pieces of the remnants of the rocket can be seen soaring to the surface and striking with a satisfactory blow.

The footage is detailed enough to show that individual pieces of steel are being thrown in all directions.

It will not be long before we see the next full-scale Starship prototype fly. The next prototype, called SN11, is ‘ready to roll out to the road in the near future’, John Insprucker said. SpaceNews.
