The Sheba Medical Center between the 10 best hospitals in the world

The classification was made by the prestigious Newsweek magazine. The Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, better known as Ichilov Hospital, is located in the first 200.

The weekly news magazine Newsweek published the list of the best hospitals in the world. For the second year in a row, the Sheba Medical Center, located in Ramat Gan, is among the top 10 in the ranking. The information was relevant in a joint work with the platform Statista Inc, a global leader in data research.

Sheba is not only the hospital with the highest rating in Israel, it also encapsulates the list in all of the Middle East. El Prof. Arnon Afek, Deputy Director-General of the Centro Médico Sheba and Director and Functions of the Hospital-General of Sheba, remarked that “we are always trying to find something new, something we can increase”. In a publication made by the institution on its web site, we discuss innovation and globalization as two key words in order to have the highest ranking in the international ranking.

The list includes 2,000 hospitals containing 25 people. The Latin American unions evaluated Brazil and Mexico.
