The Rock’s Mom interrupted his interview with Jimmy Fallon for a song and it was adorable

Now we know where Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s talent and charisma comes from!

Wednesday night he went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new comedy special “Young Rock”, loosely based on his life and his story as a struggling, competitive wrestler and actor.

They discussed the cast of the show and the importance of finding the right person to play his Samoan mother, and then Jimmy casually mentions that he recently saw The Instagram The Rock’s Mom play ukulele and a song at the grave of his grandparent in Hawaii sings on Instagram. The Rock told Jimmy, ‘She’s here,’ and called his mother to say goodbye.

Ata Johnson, 72, jumped straight into her son’s interview with a big smile, and together they erupted into an unexpected rendition of ‘Savalivali Means Go For a Walk’, a Samoan song. Dwayne, 46, looked confused at first, and then he suddenly looked like a little boy was sweeping into his Mother’s charm as he lowered his head into his hand and began to sing along.

Then Ata excitedly announced, “We have another one!” to which her son replies, “No, we no longer have one! What happens?” and bursts out laughing.

The following song was just as charming, and Jimmy could not stop blushing as they sang the words together in perfect harmony:

“We love you, Jimmy / Oh, yes, we do / We love you, Jimmy / and it’s true. If we’re away from you / we’re blue. Oh Jimmy, we love you. “

Jimmy blows her kisses back and says, ‘You just stole the interview. You are amazing. You’re a superstar! ‘

The Rock said on Twitter that his mother had a great time because she absolutely loves Jimmy Fallon – “I think more than I do, since she’s never sung this song to me before !?”

On Instagram, he also responded:

“My mom ADORES @jimmyfallon like a boy, so I thought she would like to come on improvisation and sing him a song with her ukulele.

But she started tinkering anyway and the moment she started singing.

I’m a lucky boy of a gun to have such a positive power from a mom. What a happy soul she has 🙏🏾

I will admit, her mana is pretty contagious ✨
