While the world is still waiting for a chance to buy the PlayStation 5, we continue to take a look at Sony’s next generation console – literally when we show you the 40,000 small PlayStation symbols in every gamepad, and now something figuratively. in our opinion the first pictures of PS5’s real silicone by photographer Fritzchen’s Fritz (via VideoCardz).
Above you can see one of Fritz’s beautiful close-ups of the liquid metal interface that Sony uses to keep the PS5’s temperatures in check. Below you will find a beautiful monochrome portrait of it surrounded by the motherboard:

Let’s turn it upside down, right? Here’s a high version that makes it easier to inflate (just tap on it):

And here’s what you’re actually seeing, according to a preliminary analysis of the fatal shot that Fritz tweeted again:
My interpretation of the floor plan PS5 floor plan:
1. Bomba is surprised that Sony probably cut the 256-bit FP pipes to only 128-bit.
2. No Infinity Cache / L3 $, not even on the Xbox series.
3. Maybe has the old Render Backend design, needs a higher resolution to say for sure.

This is where you may be tempted to dive into some technical details – perhaps arguing how the PS5’s silicon stands for the Xbox counterpart or AMD versions for a computer, but I would suggest that you resist. For the first time, the results are more important than specifications, but perhaps more importantly, we have not yet looked at amazing photos!
Let’s zoom in further. “Improve!”

And here’s another one that is completely zoomed into the region where AMD’s Zen 2 CPU core resides:

This is as far as Fritz has come so far with the PS5, but if these kinds of photos excite you, I would definitely recommend spending some time on Fritz’s Flickr page, where you can find an incredible number of live, near and personal, public domain pictures of silicone jumping off the page. PCGamesN called Fritz a ‘silicone pornographer’, and it’s not hard to see why.
