P-Bandai has created a Gengar pillow from Pokémon, which allows owners to roll out its tongue and use it as a pillow.
The unique soft was made available exclusively in Japan and has already sold out with orders expected to ship in June. If that translates to a $ 250USD price tag, the exclusive item doubled not only as a character cuddle, but also as a roll-away bed.

In the history of Pokémon, Gengar has a very long tongue that can be rolled out to attack enemies. In the spirit of the character’s next tradition, the soft also contains the tongue that rolls out to about 170 cm.
The ad for the Gengar soft encourages owners to use their tongue as an improvised camping bed and place their head in the mouth of the Pokémon to rest. It can not only be used as a bed, but also on the product page shows how it is used as a headrest on a desk or as a companion.
Twitter responded to the unusual item and wondered who would actually use the Pokémon as a bed. Content creator Stealth40k asked, “Who would actually sleep like that?”. Others mocked a funny day and stuck their head in Gengar’s mouth.
The only way I sleep like that is if I was awake for a week at a time and if I closed my eyes once, I would go extinct. Otherwise, it is not conducive to sleep. And once you fall asleep, your face will probably smash the table to pieces.

The Pokémon Company has been teasing a year of celebrations, with various announcements going on to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand.
Some of this year’s upcoming issues include a new Pokémon Snap following the announcement last year (2020) for the Nintendo Switch.
There are also many rumors Pokémon Diamond & Pearl can receive remakes to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise.
