The Pokémon company unveils top 30 bag samples, according to Japanese Twitter poll

As you may have heard, this is the 25th anniversary of Pokémon on February 27th (this weekend). In the run-up to this, The Pokémon Company conducted a poll and asked Japanese trainers to vote for their favorite pocket monster via Twitter. To vote, contestants had to share any pocket monster’s name in Japanese on the social media platform.

Eventually, more than a million votes were cast – with the most voted Pokémon receiving nearly 69,000 entries. Who then was the best choice? In first place was Dedenne, in second place was Cinccino (54,444 votes) and in third place was Sableye with 45,562 votes. The face of the franchise (Pikachu) was in seventh place.
