The Dominican Liberation Party is trying to regulate its current members of the Central Committee and agree to create 300 new places in this body.
The decisions take into account the decisions of the Ordinary Congress José Joaquín Bidó Medina, who led the murderous political organization.
The Central Committee has decided that it will be integrated within a minimum of 955 members, which will take up its duties for 4 years.
The decisions were announced by the Organizing Committee of the IX Congrego Ordinario José Joaquín Bidó Medina, in a press conference at the national house of the PLD.
In addition, a transitional plan was approved, which indicates that during 2021-2025 the Central Committee will include the current 460 members of the Central Committee, the legislators, aldermen and municipal directors elected in the 2020 elections, in addition to the proposals by the Political Committee 300 members to be elected at the local, national and outdoor levels.
The PLD created the Consultative Committee, which will be integrated by the members of the Political Committee which will not continue as part of this body.
“The President, the Vice-Presidents, and the Secretary-General may not occupy positions in the Dominican State without being elected candidates. In the event that it decides to aspire to an electoral charge, it will have to renounce the partisan functions that it intends to announce its aspirations, ”said one of the decisions adopted by Congress.
