The participants in the Super Bowl 2021 will have additional mask guidance for areas with large trade in Tampa, says mayor

Super Bowl LV contestants must wear masks in some outdoor areas in Tampa, Florida, Mayor Jane Castor announced Wednesday.

Castor commented on the extra masked wear in a Facebook Live stream with Kansas City, Mo., Mayor Quinton Lucas, ahead of the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs taking place on Feb. 7, according to the Tampa . Bay Times.

“We are passing an additional mask order requiring outdoor masks in areas that we believe will be densely populated with Super Bowl fans,” Castor told the newspaper.

Castor’s office is expected to release more details about the mask order on Thursday. Castor spokeswoman Ashley Bauman told the Tampa Bay Times that NFL volunteers are expected to enforce the mandate and hand out masks to fans.

The city of Florida has a mask ordinance that has already been introduced, but for those who go within businesses.

“To further protect the public from the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Hillsborough County Emergency Policy Group (EPG) has issued an order that the cover should be worn in businesses open to the public, with certain exceptions, “said Hillsborough County. government website says.
