After Amazon, Google and Apple Parler forced offline after the deadly uprising of the American Capitol, the social networking company on Sunday managed to make an online comeback.

The social media site, which is popular with fans of Donald Trump, has not yet reached its full functionality, but Parler CEO John Matze is apparently “confident” that the site will appear again by the end of January.

“Our return is inevitable due to hard work and perseverance against all odds,” reads a report by Matze on the Parler website.

“Despite the threats and harassment, not a single Parler employee has stopped. We are getting closer and stronger as a team.”

The social networking site went dark when Amazon stopped offering cloud hosting services after it was announced that the platform had been used to organize the January 6 Capitol Hill attack, which left five people dead. The actions of Amazon followed by Apple and Google to ban the Parler mobile app from their respective stores. The Parler app, which is more popular among its user base, remains unavailable.

Questions were raised about how Parler returned online after it was posted on the internet. According to the WHOIS database, the Parler domain is registered with Epik. According to a statement from Epik published on Monday, the company “had no contact or discussions with Parler about how we would become their registrar or hosting provider.”

A Reuters report cites an infrastructure expert, indicating that the IP address used by Epic is owned by DDos-Guard, which “is controlled by two Russian men and provides services, including protection against distributed denial. of service attacks. ” According to the report, the company that owns DDos-Guard is called Cognitive Cloud LP.
