On the night of October 11, 2017, a telephone call interrupted a class rendered the lawyer and professor of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Yuniol Ramírez, in the Faculty of Legal and Political Science.

A similar situation took place on May 26, 1994, when the former university professor, Narciso González, culminated in classes at the Faculty of Humanities of the UASD and parted ways at his home that night, at some point.
