The next generation Ford F-150 Raptor pickup will launch Feb. 3

Since Ram released his 702 horsepower, off-road thrash TRX pickup, he has been sitting at the top of the fast truck hierarchy. The place has been held by Ford for years with its F-150-based Raptor, but in comparison, its 450-hp EcoBoost V6 cannot hold the Ram’s Hellcat V8. The Blue Oval wants to rectify this with the unveiling of its next-generation Raptor, which we will officially see on February 3, Ford has confirmed.

Reports of Car and driver claims that two separate models are on the way – the normal but still hot Raptor and an even more capable Raptor R. It is suspected that the latter will get a version of the Predator 5.2 liter propulsion V8, which is currently the Mustang Shelby mentions. GT500 house. It delivers 760 hp in the specification, although it is possible that the supposed Raptor R can be tuned slightly.

We have speculated in previous reports that the 3.5-liter dual-turbo EcoBoost would possibly return with the 2021 Raptor, although it appears that a hearty V8 hum will emerge from later videos. With alleged news that two different variants are part of Ford’s deployment plan, it certainly seems possible that we were similar on both counts. Also, do not expect Ford to back down from Ram’s challenge – you can bet they want to make the Easter eggs look stupid and outdated.

After the details on the propulsion system, the 2021 Raptor looks at all four angles for the suspension. Like the Aries, it should also allow for even faster off-road driving with driving and stability in the foreground. We wouldn’t put it past Ford to match the Ram TRX’s 35-inch tires, and according to rumors, the Raptor R could make 37-inch all-terrain appearances. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but we’ll keep going.

In any case, we will be on the lookout for more details ahead of the upcoming super truck’s debut on February 3rd. Tune in to Ford’s social media channels at 11:00 AM to watch and click on The ride for full coverage.
