The new Cold War Maxis bundle makes players invisible in Zombies

Players purchase their new Maxis bundle for Black Ops Cold War and note that the Maxis player model is invisible in their games. in Zombies mode.

UPDATE: Treyarch reported that there is actually no invisibility problem with the Maxis bundle. Players in MP see an issue where Maxis will appear as Adler in the game instead of Maxis. The invisibility problem only occurs in Zombies mode, where it notices both the player’s POV and the enemies.

Treyarch is working to resolve this issue ASAP.

Treyarch acknowledged the issue in their Trello board and said ‘the occasional invisibility error only occurs in Zombies, not MP. If it does, the operator shows up as invisible to all players in Zombies, not just the player’s POV. In MP, the player will sometimes play Adler.“The studio confirms that”a solution will be deployed soon. In the meantime, use Quick Equip in the Bundle Locker as a solution to use Maxis as intended. ‘

Original story follows below.

The second season of Black Ops Cold War begins interestingly with the launch of its flagship Maxis bundle that sells 2,400 COD points in store. While many players may have no issues with the brand new operator in Multiplayer and Zombies, some players have reported major issues while managing it on all platforms.

According to a Reddit message from user Sticky-Lemons, it appears that the Samantha Maxis operator may appear completely invisible to players in the game, or may even use a different skin. You can see the bug in action in the video below, where the Redditor recorded his experience on the new Firebase Z card, with no operator in sight.

After arriving at the map, the user was also unable to see the model or weapons of their operator, and according to other Reddit messages, he was also unable to receive damage from Zombies on the map, which completely changed their character make inviolable.

Another report from JeffFronks, commentator, reports that he also ran into this exact release in Zombies and when he played in multiplayer. The Maxis operator is rather replaced by an Adler skin, which further contributes to the confusion.

Fortunately, it seems that players do not have to wait too long for a solution, as Treyarch community manager Josh Torres has confirmed that the team is aware of the mistake and is actively tracking the matter.

We do not know exactly which players are affected by this bug, or whether it is specifically based on the platform you are using. At the time of writing this, our team tried to use Maxis on both PS5 and PC and they had no issues uploading in Zombies or Multiplayer games.
