The Mega Millions lottery jackpot rises to $ 432 million, with no best winner on New Year’s Day

The Mega Millions lottery has grown to $ 432 million for Tuesday night’s draw, after no tickets match all six numbers since Friday night – the first major 2021 lottery.

One ticket sold in Texas matched the five white balls, but not the golden Mega Ball, according to the official Mega Million website. The ticket is therefore worth $ 1 million.

Across the country, 31 tickets from Friday’s draw won a $ 10,000 prize, with the tickets matching four white balls plus the gold Mega Ball, the lottery said. 741 tickets also won $ 500 each for four white balls.

The winning figures in the drawing of Friday evening (1/1/2021) were 8, 24, 53, 68 and 69. The Gold Mega Number was 7, and the Megaplier was 5x.

The next draw will take place at 23:00 Eastern time on Tuesday 5 January. The cash value of the estimated jackpot of $ 432 million will be approximately $ 329.7 million.

The last time a lottery player won the best Mega Millions jackpot was on September 15, 2020, when a $ 120 million ticket was sold in Wisconsin. Two top jackpots were hit in 2020 in New Jersey; an anonymous winner claims the $ 202 million prize won on February 11 with a ticket sold in Edison, and a $ 124 million ticket was purchased in Bayonne for the July 24 draw.
