The Masked Singer Season 5 Episode 5 Recap as host Nick Cannon Returns

Of course, she chose the Bulldog, and Cannon unmasked to reveal that he was back and ready to resume the host duties.

When Cannon first appeared on ‘The Masked Singer’ after hosting the past four seasons, Cannon admits it was harder than he expected. “I never thought I would be nervous, but my heart was beating so fast,” he said.

Panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke did not get the chance to give their final guesses due to the unusual nature of this unmasking. But after his performance, Andy Samberg, Chris Tucker, Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock included the names.

Cannon was the youngest contestant in ‘wildcard’, a new wrinkle this season in the battle for the gold mask trophy. Participants in season 5’s celebrity staff were divided into two groups of five (A and B).
