One benefit of companion apps for wireless earbuds is that they can pull out software updates that improve functionality. Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro, as we mentioned in our review, is an amazing range of all-round earbuds. They are now receiving a second update that enhances some of their key features.

The update weighs more than 2 MB and should be available for download via the Galaxy Wearable app. The first thing that improves it is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which at first was quite effective; as David said, “they can give some cheaper headphones over-the-ear sound suppression.” The update also improves the ambient sound. However, it is not exactly clear how.

Voice detect, a new feature that Samsung introduced with the Buds Pro, also gets better with the new update. According to the exchange book, the switching speed has been further improved. If you do not know, this mode automatically recognizes when the wearer is talking and turns down the volume of everything he is listening to.

As mentioned earlier, this is the second update that the Buds Pro hit after the launch. The first one added a hearing enhancement feature, while also improving system stability and reliability.
