Huawei may be in trouble due to the trade restrictions imposed by the US, but the company is still doing its best to create attractive new products. After getting a glimpse of the upcoming P50 Pro flagship for the first time on New Year’s Eve 2020, well-known leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer @OnLeaks) is back with more versions that give us a better idea of what the device will look like – prepare for an absolute unit of a camera push.

OnLeaks reports that the P50 Pro should be like the latest flagships with a rear glass panel, flanked by a metal frame. The front and back of the phone should be flat. In terms of dimensions, we are reportedly looking at 159 x 73 x 8.6 mm or 10.3 mm with the rear camera hump included – quite similar to the P40 Pro with a height of 168.2 mm and ‘ a width of 72.6 mm. The display is also in line with its predecessor, presumably 6.6 inches and has a punch hole camera in the middle center. Bezels look almost inconspicuous and mostly even look at the top and bottom, although the rounded corners do not match the radius of the suitcase, resulting in a somewhat unique, peculiar design.

Although OnLeaks does not have details to share the camera hardware, the bump looks more massive than on any phone in recent memory. From the look of the oval, protruding range, we can get two absolutely enormous lenses and a flash – a refreshing move away from manufacturers trying to plug in as many lenses as possible, even if it ends up being useless. Huawei has always been one of the leading innovators when it comes to camera hardware, so it will be very interesting to see what the company has come up with this time around. Of course, no matter how big the hardware is, the lack of Google apps and services will probably make it a difficult device to recommend to anyone looking for a standard Android experience.
