The pandemic in which we live, practically, a year, has traded many changes in our life: confinements, standards to freeze the virus – as the work in remote – front lines, minor physical contact … a new “way” de vivir que ha acarreado un labors estra hasta ahora nunca vivido entre los empleados. Han aflorado la intetidumbre al manana o miedo, haciendo mella en nuestro estado de animo, coma personas como membros de los equipos de trabajo de nuestras organizationes.
An emotional and physical impact on equal parts. We live in a situation where we have antiquated dystopian productions without thinking that some of us can read and observe worldliness. In these 11 months we have given up the work, apart from coming from the people, as coming from the technology.
A technology that is the main engine in transformation processes. Everything was changed in the laboratory: communication; it does not feel physically and emotionally well, that it arrives at the entrance where the work is being done; is not working on you, we are working on a pawn … For that, learn and test the technology, to establish a new model of work, is the new year.
Everything is happening in the webinar Equipos and Bienestar Laboral in the post-Covid-19 era, celebrates the 12th of January, with the intervention of our director Maite Sáenz, as moderator; Diego Ramonde, Corporate Sales Manager and Urban Sports Club; Vanesa Berrido, Head of Talent Brand & Acquisition in Southern Europe and Danone; María José Santiago, Deportiva Psychologist.
The three speakers gave an interview to those who could not attend the webinar:
1. How did you get to the conclusion that a connected team is also safe?
Diego Ramonde, corporate sales manager at Urban Sports Club: “A team connected to help maintain our social skills, and we can have satisfactory interpersonal relationships. At the moment, as is the case nowadays, many employees are telecommunications and there is no social union that does not have the property of a family unit, and continues to create situations that can generate stress or harassment. From Urban Sports Club is the connection between all the team to favor our mental health and physical fitness. It’s fundamental that we’re also looking to transmit our service to businesses through the app. So our mobile application, as well as many other apps, allow a solution to socialization and help to avoid the need to spend pleasant training sessions with our work partners, and to be able to read a simple online game like this the conventional building team ”.
Vanesa Berrido, Head of Talent Brand & Acquisition for Europe and Danone: «Our concept of health is holistic. For Danone health is not only felt physically, emotionally, socially and mentally. We are always working to offer this type of property to our employees, and now more than ever. Getting rid of solitary confinement, incumbent and a complex and changing context like the current, can be an impossible subject area. Contact with other people is key. Therefore, it is essential that teams have the time and resources to share, discuss and confront the day to day. Great part of being emotional and animating the employee is greater in a context in which being comfortable and connected with the team ”.
María José Santiago Bendito, Sports Psychologist: “We are social, and as social we need connections with other people. It is because of this from the perspective of health, we can take into account the factor of social health (since health is defined by the WHO as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being”).
2. How are you adapting your online training dynamics?
Vanesa Berrido: “The distance has been a ret for the training area, but during the day some opportunities are offered. In our case, we have worked on various pillars to address the formative offer in the current context, without renouncing the value that exists for the implementation of the development of its competencies. To do this, first of all, we have adjusted the training to the needs of the moment, and we have developed new solutions giving special emphasis on the topics that our most needy have today: for example nutrition, leadership in context in time del sueño, ens. There are many actions valued by employees, including those known as Danoners. On the other hand, we revised the format of the formative actions, to make “a single impact” (session of 1 day per example, 8h) different “micro-impacts” (leerbyte) more short. In this way, we only maintain the attention of the participants who are connected remotely and make the management of the time more flexible, so that we also see that we reduce absenteeism in the formations. In addition, we launched a new digital learning tool (Learning Box) in order for Danes to apply for training and management needs. Finally, we also make the organization of training as flexible as possible, facilitating the selection of fees and schedules, for example. The objective is to ensure that the Experience is equal to the best when presenting, adapting the methodology, making pilot sessions in all actions, etc. ”
Diego Ramonde: «His moments of revenge for the companies in many ways. In our case, we will discuss the formations and results that will not be lost. Through traumas of meeting and presentations, but also with dynamics and urges that help a mantenerse enfocado and that the formation results the most amenable ”.
3. How can you create health habits in a virtual world?
Diego Ramonde: “If infinity of nutritional and nutritional routines can be created per supuest, then there is a predisposition on the part of the person to be able to create a habit. There is a diverse program with nutritional aircraft, others that can help you increase your cardiac rhythm or have the amount of water you need to stimulate your metabolism. From our company, for example, we have a large number of online and direct class offers, which will help you maintain a training routine if you need to take care of your home ”.
Vanesa Berrido: «Thanks to the technology, it is much easier to communicate and connect employees who do not always share the same workload. During the most brutal months of the pusemia pusimos special focus in communication with employees. We will establish a specific editorial calendar, centered on the needs and circumstances of each week, which will share messages to accompany our employees in these complicated moments. Specifically, we have had internal conversations surrounding the launch of applications and applications to adequately manage this home office, which we practically during the first semester of this year ”
María José Santiago Bendito: “The main thing is to plant objectives, small objective journals that will generate a routine (and as such that will generate objectives in the middle / wide space). An idea can be every month, plant small goals / retorts that can be mediated until the end of the day or the end of the week and that vayan agree with the salutary habits that are to be adopted »
4. What place would you like to occupy the balance in the value proposition of the post-covid employee?
Diego Ramonde: “We firmly believe that we will occupy a priority space as a value proposition for the employee. Now more than ever, the companies say that it is time to realize an extra effort and invest in alternative labor to satisfy the employee and the satisfaction of the employee. It does not have to treat, unequivocally, to reduce stress or to establish a sound routine between employees, we must also reform the social component, whether for those employees who work, will be fundamental in the working ecosystem ”.
Vanesa Berrido: “Without doubt the health and well-being of being at the center of the strategy and proposition value of the companies, both for their employees as well as for their consumers, customers, societies, etc. From my point of view, companies that no longer devise a value strategy in this sense of having a clear competitive advantage for the attraction and retention of talent. And although it has always been a very important theme, it has been transformed into a strategic theme ”.
María José Santiago Bendito: “Personally, I hope that this is one of the” top “priorities for companies, and that the pandemic hemosphere will reflect the importance of ensuring the health of people, and that physics alone is not the mental state”.
