Freelance Cody Wichmann visited the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

Wichmann is the third guard the Seahawks have watched this week alongside Chance Warmack and Danny Isidora.

Wichmann did not play in the NFL last season after a two-year run with the Dallas Cowboys of 2018-19. The Cowboys released him at the end of training camp last year. A five-year veteran, Wichmann, was a sixth round of the St. Louis Rams and appeared in 24 career games starting with 18, all of whom came with the Rams in 2015-’16. He also spent time with the Tennessee Titans.

Warmack chose last season not to join the Seahawks anymore. Isidora was a fifth-round pick for the Minnesota Vikings in 2017. He kept six games at stake in his NFL career, including three with the Miami Dolphins in 2019.

The Seahawks added Gabe Jackson in a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders to fit in with the waiters along with Damien Lewis. Jamarco Jones and Phil Haynes also remain as possible depth options, although both have dealt injuries this past season. Jordan Simmons was also re-signed on the spot for depth. However, the team is clearly looking for a little more depth.
