A gold statue of former President Donald Trump has been transformed into the talk of the Conservative political action conference taking place in Orlando. CNN, for example, calls the statue more than six feet the “undisputed star” of the conference. Trump has a suit jacket with a white shirt and a red tie and shorts with an American flag. Trump also wears sandals and holds a magic wand, a reference to how former President Barack Obama once said Trump did not have a magic wand to bring manufacturing work back to the United States.
‘He’s wearing a suit because he’s a businessman. The red tie represents the Republican Party, the red white and blue shorts represent the fact that he is a patriot, ‘artist Tommy Zegan told the New York Post. The sandals are the way Zegan chose to suggest that Trump was in his golden years and could be ‘on the beach’ if he wanted to.
Zegan told Politico that the fiberglass statue was made during a six-month period in Mexico in the resort town of Rosarito. He then took it to Tampa, where it was painted in chrome, and then got a U-Haul to transport it to CPAC. “If someone offered me $ 100,000, I would take it,” Zegan said.

However, the statue that turns its head at CPAC is actually just an appetizer for the real thing. This is the fiberglass shape of the stainless steel statue that Zegan stored in Tampa. The production of the statue cost him his ‘life saving’ of $ 50,000. He apparently wants to sell the one for more than $ 1 million, but if he can’s not sell it, he wants it to go to the Trump Presidential Library. “It’s of museum quality, and it’s the one I’m finally hoping for in the Trump library,” Zegan told CNN. “It’s literally invaluable.”
Many on Twitter were quick to recall the Old Testament story of the golden calf that angered Moses. ‘Idolatry is not conservative. #RestoreOurGop, ”Representative Adam Kinzinger, who was one of ten Republicans in the House who voted in favor of Trump’s accusation, posted on Twitter. Zegan pushed back against the equation. “It’s not an idol,” Zegan said. “I know the biblical definition of an idol. This is not an idol. This is a sculpture. ”
Trump will speak at CPAC on Sunday, but he has already been the talk of the Conservative conference and makes it clear that the former president remains a powerful force. “Let me tell you something: Donald Trump is not going anywhere,” Senator Ted Cruz said.
