Major League Baseball announces that the Game of Thrones and its activities from the Week of Stars – including the Game of the Future Stars and Amateur Draft – will be held at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
In principle, the Game of Thrones, scheduled for July 13, will be held at the Truist Park in Atlanta. Without embarrassment, last week, MLB announced that it would withdraw its seat from the city, debating a controversial law that will now be heard in the process of voting in the state of Georgia.
Will be the second Star Game in Colorado, first in 1998.
“Major League Baseball is pleased with the Rockies, the City of Denver and the State of Colorado for their support of the Estrellas Game of Thrones”, said MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. “We would like to increase our flexibility and enthusiasm to burn a first class event for our game and the region. We look forward to celebrating the best players in our sport and entertaining fans all over the world”.
